About us

The Clemson Usability Group (CUG) consists of a group of Clemson University students and faculty who are passionate about usability.

Student members of CUG come from a diverse background (master's or PhD's in Applied Psychology and Human Factors or from Industrial Engineering). Their work is supervised by
Dr. Richard Pak and Dr. Lee Gugerty, who are in the Department of Psychology.

Most of the students have completed graduate course work in human factors, usability evaluation techniques, cognitive psychology, perception, and statistics.

In addition, several students have completed summer internships at leading usability firms throughout the United States.

To view some of our usability evaluation work, see the sidebar on the right labeled "Portfolio".
