Cognitive Walkthrough
Cognitive walkthroughs focus on how easy it is for a user to complete a specific task within a system and on whether the system is easy to learn. This technique helps to determine the cognitive underpinnings of the user while working with the system.
A cognitive walkthrough assesses the steps required to complete a specific task and helps to identify problems that might occur, as well as expose any discrepancies between how users complete the task and how designers envision the task should be completed.
